Cody's Executive Director:
Philip Ross has been at Cody for twenty seven years with twenty four of those
years serving as Cody's director. He personally supervises all areas of the
camp operation. His dedication and enthusiasm for providing children with
opportunities to learn and grow have made Cody the exciting camp that it is
today. He looks forward to sharing his love of Cody and pride in all of its
traditions with campers and staff from around the world.
During the school year, Philip puts his talents to work bringing a new program
called "Exchange City" to schools from all over New England. Exchange
City is an amazing hands-on economics program where Middle and High School
Students run a life-size city with stores, businesses and government offices.
Students take on the roles of employees, consumers and citizens; they work,
get paid, pay taxes, pay rent and utility bills and even take out commercial
bank loans. Check it out, it's incredible!
In 1995, Philip took Cody year-round, and now thousands of children can experience
Cody each year. During the school year Cody offers exciting programs to schools
and youth organizations at the Cody Education Center.

Originally from Colorado, Michigan, and Rhode Island Nick Robbins has been
with Cody since 2002. Having led backpacking, rock climbing, and ski touring
trips, taught middle and highschool, worked as an EMT, and as a National Ski
Patroller, Nick has devoted his life to working with young people in and around
the great outdoors.
A graduate of the Colorado College, Nick is now based year-round at Cody in
Freedom, New Hampshire.
It is Nick's personal goal to insure the highest quality of experience for
the campers who attend Cody. He is involved directly with the Cody experience
from before the campers get to camp until after they leave.
