Summer Programs

Out of school, hands on learning programs are becoming more popular and much more available for schools at an affordable price. Also operated in summer conjunction with the conference center is Cody in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Cody is a summer economics scheme which teaches children of all ages about operating a business in the 'real world' and the New Hampshire summer programs skills, stress and fulfillment of business in a controlled environment. As well as being a conference center and running a summer camp, Cody hosts Natures Classroom, an outdoor environmental education New Hampshire summer programs for children from 5th through 8th grade.

The participants operate their summer business and work through the day hoping to pay back their bank loan and take their company into profit. During the summer program the participants learn life long skills such as using and balancing a check book and personal finances to people, time and resource management. School summer programs are always trying to improve their teaching techniques and how best to cover the summer curriculum standards. We do offer a group rate for those who wish to combine a stay at the conference center and the New Hampshire summer programs. Through the conference center, we run many school programs which cover a wide range of activities, life long skills and inter personal interaction.
